2.2. Order No. 3D-884 of 23 December 2013 by Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania On approval of the description of the procedure for issuance, suspension, revocation, replacement and revocation of the certificate of a fishing vessel of the Republic of Lithuania and on the declaration of certain orders of the Minister of Agriculture being null and void”.

3.2. Where the certificate is replaced following changes in fishing capacity data, the economic entity shall submit:

3.2.1. a request for replacement of the certificate including a completed fishing vessel data form;

3.2.2. a certificate stating that the fishing vessel’s engine is not capable of attaining more than the maximum continuous engine power specified in the certificate, provided that a new  engine was installed or the existing engine was replaced or technically modified;

3.2.3. other documents confirming the changes in the technical data of the fishing vessel or copies thereof, if the fishing vessel has changed its capacity.

3.3. When the certificate is replaced following changes in other data of the certificate (excluding fishing capacity data), an economic entity shall submit:

3.3.1. a request for replacement of the certificate including a completed fishing vessel data form;

3.3.2. in the case of a change of ownership of a fishing vessel together with the corresponding fishing capacity, it is needed to provide a document certifying the change of ownership or copies thereof (purchase-sale, presenting, etc. agreement, a certificate of inheritance rights, etc.);

3.3.3. in the case of a change in ownership (managing owner) of a fishing vessel, a contract conferring management rights on the vessel.

3.4. The original of the non-valid certificate, previously issued to the fishing vessel, and the legal entity registration certificate (if the economic entity is a legal entity) or identity document (if the economic entity is a natural person) shall also be provided).

The application of a legal entity shall include: the code of the legal entity, the title, the address of the registered office, the name and signature of the person entitled to act on behalf of the legal entity.

If the certificate is changed due to a change in the fishing capacity data, it shall specify the basis for the management of fishing capacity used to increase the capacity of the fishing vessel of the Republic of Lithuania.(if the free fishing capacity was transferred by another legal or natural person, the application shall also include a confirmation of this person about the transferred free fishing capacity).
