DESCRIPTION OF THE PROVISION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A FISHING VESSEL CERTIFICATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA

3. Information and documents to be provided by a person 3.1. Application for the issue of a vessel’s certificate stating the basis for managing the free fishing capacity required for the inclusion of the fishing vessel in the data system (when the transfer of a free fishing capacity was by another natural or legal person, the application shall include a confirmation by that person about the transfer of the free fishing capacity) as well as the fishing vessel data form of the Republic of Lithuania.

3.2. A certificate of registration of a vessel in the Register of Sea Vessels of the Republic of Lithuania or a certificate of temporary registration of a vessel in the Register of Sea Vessels of the Republic of Lithuania;

3.3. A permit to fly the Lithuanian flag or a permit to temporarily fly the Lithuanian flag.

3.4. A certificate for the vessel class (if applicable).

3.5. A document certifying ownership rights to the vessel or a contract conferring management rights on a vessel.

3.6. When the fishing vessel requested to be entered in the data system has previously been registered in the European Union fishing fleet register in another Member State, it is necessary to provide a document certifying its de-registration from that Member State’s fishing fleet register (if applicable).

3.7. A certificate of registration of the legal entity (if the owner / manager of the fishing vessel is a legal entity) or an identity document (if the owner / manager of the fishing vessel is a natural person).

9. Application form, example of filling in and application content

 

 

The application of a natural person shall include: the name, the date of birth, address and signature of the natural person.

The application of a legal entity shall include: the code of the legal entity, the title, the address of the registered office, the name and signature of the person entitled to act on behalf of the legal entity. If the certificate is changed due to a change in fishing capacity data, it shall indicate the basis for managing the fishing capacity used to increase the capacity of the fishing vessel of the Republic of Lithuania (if the fishing capacity has been transferred by another legal or natural person, the application shall also include a confirmation of that person about the transferred free fishing capacity).

The application is written in a free form.

A fishing vessel data form is presented in annex 2 of the description of the procedure for issuance, suspension, revocation, replacement and revocation of the certificate of a fishing vessel of the Republic of Lithuania, approved by Order No. 3D-884 of 23 December 2013 by Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania On approval of the description of the procedure for issuance, suspension, revocation, replacement and revocation of the certificate of a fishing vessel of the Republic of Lithuania and on the declaration of certain orders of the Minister of Agriculture being null and void”.
